The Physics MicroComputer Lab is located in RLM 7.306. RLM, Robert
Lee Moore Hall, at the southeast corner of Speedway and 26th. Once in
RLM take the escalators to the top. When you get off the escalators,
head down the hallway with the water fountain. Turn left past the

Printing
For printing needs, we have two ITS printers (black & white laser) in
the lab at the standard charge of $0.10 per sheet
How much does it cost to print?
Our printing goes through ITS and there is a standard charge of
10 cents per page (excluding the blue cover page).
My physics homework isn't printing all the way. What's wrong?
Odds are that you're using the PDF file to print. If so, then
try printing with the PostScript version of the homework. We have
problems with printing the PDF sometimes, but the PS file almost
always works. If you are using PostScript, then ask the proctor on
duty.
Where are the printers?
We have two large Lexmark laser printers sitting across from the
proctor's desk.
Why isn't my document printing?
There can be several reasons for this to happen.
If you have a large print job, then it takes a while for the printer
to process it. This typically happens with Mathmatica prints and
Word files with many pictures or graphics.
In addition, there could be jobs ahead of yours on the printer, some
of which could be large and stalling the queue.
If it has been several minutes and your document has not printed,
tell the proctor and he can see if there is anything holding up the
queue.
How can I get a refund for my printouts?
ITS rarely gives refunds, and they do only when there was an
error with the printout or a gross user mistake. Make sure you keep
the printout as evidence to show ITS, and pick up a rebate form in
either the Student Microcomputing Facility (SMF) in the
Undergraduate Library (UGL) or in the ITS main office on 26th and
University.
